What is a door drop?Door Drop Marketing, also known as Print Distribution, Leaflet Drops and Mail Drops, is a highly effective form of direct marketing that involves distributing printed materials, such as flyers, leaflets, or brochures, directly to households in a targeted geographic area. We’re a family-run print business and for 30 years we’ve helped our customers, from local businesses to multi-nationals, reach their customers by delivering high-quality print and mailing products. And for the last 13 years, everything we do has been printed sustainably.

How do door drops work?We follow a simple four-step process to ensure quality and efficiency in delivering your door-drop marketing campaign: 1. Get a personalised quote by building your own Door Drop Campaign with our free booking tool – we’ll guide you through the process. 2. After submitting your campaign, our team will contact you to discuss the spec and quote, offering recommendations to boost your ROI. 3. Once approved, we’ll print and pack your materials, ensuring quality checks throughout. 4. Relax as we handle the entire distribution, with a report delivered to your inbox upon completion.

What return can I expect from my campaign?This depends very much on the offer, the audience, and the call to action (we can help define all of these). We’ll talk you through your campaign objectives, and research what response rates you should expect based on industry data.

Are my assets printed and delivered by DoorDrops4U?KNP will supply the print and Royal Mail Door to Door will distribute the items.

How much notice do I need to give to book a Door Drop?1. We typically need to book three weeks before the Door Drop starts. 2. The print needs to be delivered 10 days before the Door Drop starts, and we need to allow a week for the printing. 3. If we confirm the booking and receive artwork on the Friday of week 1, the Door Drop will start on the Monday of week 3.

How long does the Door Drop take to be distributed?If we use Royal Mail, a Door Drop will start on Monday and will typically be complete by Saturday.

What areas do you cover?1. Using Royal Mail Door to Door, we have access to all 30,000,000 homes in the UK. 2. Royal Mail delivers to all residential (and businesses, if required) households within a postal sector. A postal sector, on average, has between 2,000 and 4,000 households.

What's the minimum quantity I can book?3,250 leaflets with Royal Mail or £250.00 (ex VAT).

How do you ensure all leaflets are distributed?Royal Mail Door to Door is an untracked service, so there is no guarantee of 100% distribution; however, it remains the most reliable leaflet distribution service available in the UK. If you believe any addresses have been missed, let us have the postcode and house number, and we will investigate. Any enquries relating to missed properties must be raised within 28 days of the start of the Door Drop.

Can I target my Door Drop to a specific audience?Absolutely – we will work with you to target your audience based on several demographics; age, income, family type, property type, hobbies and interests and many more.

Do the leaflets have to be a certain size?When folded, any items over 297mm x 210mm and 5mm thick will need to be priced separately.
